Our History

Northwich Vixens Ladies Football Club was established by Fred Burgess in 2008 entering the Cheshire and Manchester league The Vixens flew through a phenomenal first season, winning their first League title and promotion, and reaching the semi-final of both the Cheshire and league cup.

The second season 2009/2010 saw The Vixens improve even further winning a league and cup double. The Vixens completed the league undefeated, winning 17, and drawing just one game – scoring a magnificent 106 goals.

The vixens went on to complete a treble of league titles! Improving once again The Vixens this time completed the season with a 100% winning record and gained promotion from the Cheshire and manchester league, into the North West Regional League. The Vixens completed another amazing goal tally of 152! Their performance attracted regional media attention from BBC radio manchester; and promotion to the regional level brought a new challenge against experienced sides such as Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere Rovers, Bolton Wonders, and Blackpool.
